Appetisers

Smoked Salmon Finely sliced Scottish oak smoked salmon served with a salad garnish
Chicken Liver Pate A Superb home made smooth pate flavoured with brandy served with toast and a salad garnish
Marylyn’s Soup Delicious home made Bacon, Leek & Potato soup served with crusty bread
Prawn Cocktail The traditional Prawn cocktail topped with Tiger prawns served with wholemeal bread and lemon

Main Courses

Poached Salmon A generous, boneless, salmon fillet served with a refreshing home made parsley sauce.
Chicken & Bacon A large chicken fillet wrapped in bacon cooked in a rich wild mushroom sauce.
Steak & Mushroom Pie
 Succulent steak slow cooked with onion and mushrooms, topped with a puff pastry lid, and served with lovely gravy.
Pancakes (V) Pancakes filled with chestnut mushrooms and spinage. Topped with cheese sauce.

All our main courses are served with generous helpings of fresh veg and potatoes.

Desserts

Sherry Trifle Traditional trifle topped with cream and grated chocolate served Manhattan style!
Profiteroles Fresh cream filled Profiteroles smothered in home made chocolate sauce, a true delight!
Apple Crumble Delicious Brambly apples covered with a light crumble topping and a sprinkle of sugar
Cheese & biscuits From our fine selection of cheeses and selected biscuits we also have port available from the bar!

And for those who dare we serve Ice-cream, custard and/or cream with all our desserts!!

We normally start serving evening meals around 7:30pm. However, if this is inconvenient please contact us.

This is our standard 1st night menu for all, however there are normally two or more choices
per course available throughout the week.

If you find the above menu to your satisfaction and would like dine with us on the night of your arrival please could you contact us 3 or 4 days prior and let us know your choices. All our food is freshly prepared for on the day to ensure top quality at all times.Thank you.
