Our aim is simple, To give you the Very best you deserve.  Relax
and enjoy the splendor of the house and its position over looking Matlock, the Derwent valley and Peak District National Park.  With far reaching, uninterrupted, stunning  views from ALL of our rooms.

We are simply above the rest in Matlock.

Robertswood is a charming and elegant stone-built country residence with three floors of Victorian grandeur.   We are only a short down hill walk to Matlock town centre, about 15 minutes or O.8 of a mile, Our setting amidst woodlands on Farley hillside offers peace and tranquillity with stunning South-facing views across the Derwent Valley and surrounding picturesque Peak National Park. The perfect location for your Derbyshire and Peak District experience.

Your hosts David and Marylyn will be pleased to welcome you to Robertswood and all its facilities and will do everything possible to make your stay enjoyable and a comfortable one.          Robertswood is currently the only 5 Star licensed bed & breakfast/guest house within the Matlock area. Offering a comfortable bar and lounge area where you can relax and enjoy a drink from our well-stocked bar, 3 course Evening meals, Bar meals and pack lunches are also availible to our guests. For the smokers among us we are now smoking in the front garden.

All our beautiful rooms have stunning views and are furnished to a very high standard.                                     Your room, either Twin or Double will have both en suite bath and shower over as you would expect.
Tea and coffee making facilities are standard along with colour TV/DVDs,  radio alarm clocks and
hair dryers in all of our rooms.

Whilst staying at Robertswood, be secure in the knowledge that your car is safe in our large,
private, off-road car park to the front of the house.

After your day out, whether for business or pleasure should you wish to dine with us, our dining room is open every evening. We have a regular Evening menu with different specials added daily. Please note however, a meal on the night of your arrival would need to be pre-ordered.
